Showing our daughter the clip of “You Can Fly” from ’s 1953 version of Peter Pan, reminded me of one the movie’s powerful messages: to fly, u must think “happy thoughts.” U need pixie dust too, but ur feet won’t leave the ground without positivity!

People love the growing legion of cameras on the back of iPhones. But given ’s incredible investments in mobile audio via AirPods, it’d be great to see similar progress in iPhone’s speakers. Consolidating the phone with the A+ portable speaker use cases = new reason to buy

Flights are a wonderful opportunity in our ‘interruption culture’ to do deep work. Just remember to look out the airplane window every now & again. It can take your breath away 🌎

As evocative with words (tone & silence) as he is with the trumpet. Terrific interview by of the legendary impresario , who’s carried the torch of jazz for 40 years through playing, teaching, storytelling, and much more

Odd question to ask on here, but what's the best way to get in touch with the Trust & Safety team ? Having an issue that I need help with and finding their content & tooling insufficient. Grateful for any assistance friends can provide!

Dear & , it'd be amazing if u'd offer better "Image Gallery" tools for publishers, akin to 's "Layout" app. They dynamically generate adjustable templates based on the photos users pick. Helps creators tell more compelling stories

Thorough & thoughtful interview of Presidential candidate ⁦⁩. While I knew about his Climate Change & Impeachment agendas, loved learning more about his broader civic contributions (beyond donations). Wish more like him went into government

It feels like ’s behavioral model for its ScreenTime product relies too much on negative (vs positive) reinforcement. There’s a greater opportunity to highlight enriching digital engagement (like podcasts or ebooks completed) & create habit-forming triggers with software.

Watched “The Little Mermaid” with our daughter recently. Anyone else wonder about Sebastian’s coloring? Thought red was the color of cooked lobster. Couldn’t get the thought out of my head throughout the movie. Had to be a deliberate decision. But why?! 🦞

While I appreciate the enviable liquidity of employment opportunities within the Craigslist marketplace, surprised to see the folks feature its new iOS product in “Apps We Love Right Now.” A generous read of its UX would be ‘nostalgic’ cc

10/10: So, they partner with mission-aligned non-profits like to help execute. Love to see the results of ’s program. If powerful, others should take notice. If u have other ideas for how to drive philanthropy via experiential anticipation, ping me!

9/10: What would appear to make experiential & product-based programs like ’s compelling (how accessible & human they feel), also makes them challenging to administer (moving product involves lots of logistics vs simply moving money from one bank account to another).

8/10: Another idea would be retail customers at sporting goods stores buying basic items like baseballs, tennis balls, swim caps at checkout for those in your sports who cannot afford them (cc )

6/10: One idea would be buying food or coffee for homeless people at grocery stores or cafes, instead of doing more traditional point of sale financial campaigns or in-kind programs like “can drives” (cc )

5/10: Since the cheapest of the charitable items are < ~$1 (ex: an eraser), you feel like you can make a difference for not that much. After leaving the store, my mind has raced to think through where a similar experiential anticipation-induced giving model could be applied.
