I don't think we actually know that much about red hair at all. There are theories, but there are theories for intelligence too.

If you don't like the hair color analogy, height would also work, and I know we don't know 100% of genes there.

If you don't like "intelligence", I think backward digit span is a pretty good proxy that shows the same group differences.
