Your own institution's article basically admits he was right about four out of five things, although it does its best to downplay it.
That's exactly what global warming denialists say about climatologists.Heck, could be applied to any field.

I am not saying I'm 100% sure right, I'm saying when a scientific field agrees on something they deserve to be taken seriously.

at least in that they ask us to draw strong conclusions about systems too complex (intelligence, climate) to correctly model to that level
-
I don't think people "model" intelligence in the same sense as they "model" climate, and even climate predictions are based on past.
-
IE it takes some faith in climate "models" to believe exact future predictions, but even without models, strong support for AGW thesis.

i dont really accept that equivalency but there are some commonalities between the debates that even a dummy like me can see
-
This is why I'm so concerned. It seems like "trust scientific consensus, don't deny science" only applies when people like the results.
-
to me, and this is my dummy opinion but here goes, climate gets a pass because the mechanism behind the warming...
-
... (greenhouse effect caused by increased CO2 in atmosphere) is obviously correct which means the models dont really need to prove it
-
whereas the underlying mechanism by which black people are supposedly stupider doesnt have a good or coherent explanation
-
What do you mean by "explanation"? Does the mechanism where Irish people have more red hair have a "good explanation"?
-
If you're asking for the exact evolutionary pressures, various proposals including adaptation to > parasite load in tropics.
-
ive heard that one and confess to not knowing all the ins and outs of it but it seems like some post-hoc shit to me
