I think this is a cop-out. You can point out that majorities have more people to use weapon, but weapon the same.

It's not about number of ppl. It's about a fundamental difference in power dynamics. Oppressor v oppressed.

Just admit that you're doing the same thing and one group is bigger than the other so it matters more.

Minority groups are severely disadvantaged in a ton of ways. Implicit bias is real and important. (1/)

Also, note good studies find implicit bias v questionable. See https://www.researchgate.net/publication/239732934_Predicting_Ethnic_and_Racial_Discrimination_A_Meta-Analysis_of_IAT_Criterion_Studies … , http://www.law.virginia.edu/pdf/faculty/reassessingpredictivevalidityoftheiat.pdf …,

those studies don't claim implicit bias isn't real, just that the IAT isn't effective test.

So your theory is that it's real, but not scientifically measurable?

It's been proven scientifically by other measures. Other sources find opposite, eg https://blog.interviewing.io/we-built-voice-modulation-to-mask-gender-in-technical-interviews-heres-what-happened/ …. Likely very dependent on context.

Do you believe women are just worse at working with technology? What other explanations could there be?

See https://www.aei.org/publication/2013-sat-test-results-show-that-a-huge-math-gender-gap-persists-with-a-32-point-advantage-for-high-school-boys/ … . Women get fewer tech jobs because fewer women in higher math.

Lower scores on relevant exams + fewer decide to go into those professions.
