I think you are comparing cash earnings of ppl in dollar equivalents without taking into account non-cash earnings & PPP.

All discussion of money does this. But given ability to directly transfer real dollars from one to another, seems reasonable.

Well, the point is that the Costa Ricans can direct transfers to other costa ricans via land reform. But not cross country.

Confused. Of course you can transfer money across countries. People do this all the time.

Sure, you, can, but that's not going make much of a difference for inequality. However land reform will. Gov reform might.

Globalization has made massive difference in cross-nation inequality, eg China, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, etc.
