How can I say it? If there are enough masks for all then let's all wear masks. But there iaren't enough masks in France and doctors lack them. Therefore we should let masks where they are most useful.

Awesome, I can ask you. How come you dismiss "According to intention-to-treat, the studies unanimously found masks to be useless." after explaining that "intention-to-treat" is the only unbiased way to evaluate an effect? 1/2

First, because MacIntyre and Chugatai do that in their review, and they're the world experts. But also because there's no such thing as a perfect study - AFAIK there are no RCTs proving smoking causes cancer. You have to do the best you can interpreting imperfect evidence.

There’s no such thing as strong circumstantial evidence. And the evidence presented is very weak, and not reproducible. Every research gives a different conclusion, and all have small n.

The thing is that transmission from the virus is predominantly by person-to-person contact or by contaminated objects. Droplet spread is a minor factor, and airborne transmission is very small, if at all significant.
