    That's an eyesore ! If your screen isn't dimmed at night and someone gets into a traffic accident nearby, a case could probably be made that your bad lighting was responsible.

    Science journalists: here's a story you seem to have missed. A review of street lighting recommendations found that they aren't based in science. That suggests we're wasting a huge amount of energy, and making more than necessary. (1/2)

    Only 6% of US light-related lawsuits are brought against municipalities and other government entities for allegations of insufficient lighting. In 49% of cases the suit is due to the municipality allegedly installing too much light.

    I work with big predators. I give them their space, I respect them, and I always keep in mind that they have the ability to kill me. As someone who studies predator behaviour, I’m glad I had to knowledge of what to do when a crocodile bit into my calf last night and dragged me.

    some people feel tough, when they shoot predators. Real badasses stay calm during a crocodile attack and defend the crocodile afterwards. you have my utmost respect!
