So @YouTube are changing sh*t again... apparently I'll lose monetization on my channel next month unless I meet the 'new threshold of 4000 hours viewed in 12 months & 1000 subscribers' so @TeamYouTube when we meet the threshold will monetization be automatically available still?

email says if thresholds met by next month then all is good so by 'automatically available' I meant will nothing change from as it is now.
Ah I see. Well, of course it's possible...things will stay the same. But my guess is that if you got the email, YouTube is confident you won't make it.

Would be surprised if that's the reason, I'm only a couple of thousand minutes off the threshold, sub count has well surpassed the requirements and in 30 days I should easily have the minutes. Shame for the small channels these 'new requirements'
