Causation vs. correlation. All these studies are observational. For all our techno wizardry we have limited grasp of the human body at a systems level.

Also: male vs. female? Age? Genetic profile / ethnicity? Fitness level? We are desperate for “one rule to rule them all” with nutrition guidelines. IMO a Quixotic quest. Confounding variables are highly individualistic.
