Your reminder through the bad faith BS fog that Michigan’s GOP-led legislature has had eight months to pass a comprehensive plan to stop the spread of #COVID19 instead of just whining about Gov. Whitmer’s plans.

Herd immunity is monstrously immoral and not a plan.https://www.michiganadvance.com/blog/public-health-experts-call-out-shirkeys-comments-on-herd-immunity/ …

That would require doing the work and taking responsibility, neither of which is a strong point of the Michigan GOP.

Agreed!! They are adamant about cementing their place on the wrong side of history here! I don’t get it,...

My Republican rep here (Mike Mueller) doesn’t even dignify my emails to him with a response. Mueller can be voted out in this district, which swings blue, but these guys know they’ve got a lock on Republican control. People should expect more from their state govt.

The @GOP prefers that if “one ignores a problem long enough” it will just miraculously go away. 🥴

that is a universal problem...exactly the same issue in Wisconsin. Except beyond whining as they sue every time the governor tries to enact anything.

That's exactly what happened in Michigan. They sued to abolish the indefinite unilateral extension of emergency powers by a Michigan governor, and won. Now Michigan's GOP legislature has the power, not Whitmer, and what do they do? Same as before: blame Whitmer for everything!

Right? @SenMikeShirkey @LeeChatfield @aricnesbitt accuse @GovWhitmer going it alone yet they are AWOL. Is the governor supposed to run in place while @MIGOP leaders fiddle and #Michigan burns?
