A lot of white-collar workers aren’t required to be back in the office so you can choose to go sometimes as a break from your routine. Service sector and blue collar employees largely don’t have that option and have to literally risk their lives every day on the job.

Had to listen to committee testimony on this last week. “I don’t want to put my employees in the middle of a political situation”. Same folks will begin demanding “liability reform” in the coming months.

In my area, stores are not enforcing mask wearing or keeping social distance. Their employees are in real danger and I don't blame the ones who stay home.
