Rust is fitting into my post-python world fairly well, so far 2 tools written in rust deployed, both 5-10x faster than the python.

having spent far too long in C[++], I'm convinced that safety is the way forward, modern C++ is not this
but yeah just started toying with rust, liking the language design and borrow checker is amazing

just had a crash (use after free due to refcount abuse) in C++ code that could never have happened in rust.argh rust envy
