I'm not knocking the free VS2010 Express, but the Win7 SDK installer (for x64 target) is very broken if you have SP1.

Express compat is way down there list, VS2012 Express for Desktop doesn't even install on my Win8 boxen?! wtf

The uninstaller was bust for me, had to remove the 40 dependencies by hand. :-(
