I read that post in '17. I'd always SAID I wanted to write a novel, but had also always SAID I didn't have time. The only way to do it -- with job and kids and other -- was to wake up at 4:30 am. I've been doing it for more than two years, and the book is almost finished.

And when I started, I said to myself, "How am I going to get up that early?" And then, I said, "Well, if I don't, at least I'll have learned that it wasn't that important to me, and then I can move on without the nagging thoughts."

In order to make sure I work on my projects, I allocate time in my calendar. If I am willing to schedule meetings and not miss them I should be placing at least the same priority to make things happen.
