    Update: Sistah Space hace now been let in, but people are still welcome to come down in case the council send more security. See you at 3pm outside Hackney Town Hall to protest their eviction!

    URGENT HELP NEEDED The council are trying to stop Sistah Space from entering the building with more than 6 people. Security are saying that they’re going to ‘enforce’ this rule. If you are in the area, come down to Hackney Town Hall ASAP to show support!

    Sistah Space in Hackney provides an escape for women of African heritage who have suffered abuse. They have been moved to a temporary base while refurbishments happen to their old premises. Now the council wants to move them back - a move the charity say is not safe.
