Entrepreneurship in South East Asia is still in infancy. They still fear failure. They are afraid. I would rather explain to these founders with little experience and mentor network about futility of NDA's and how they alienate them with great advice.

peers in SEA, execution matters more than the ideas. don't @ at me

exactly! there were meetings I went here wanted a NDA signed before they can start sharing their "big" ideas for collaboration purpose.

so true. we wouldn’t even talk about all the crazy product ideas we talked about if we both asked each other to sign NDAs first!

yeah haha! we even talked openly about product roadmap and tools to build it. that might be a rare topic to begin with for many local entrepreneurs I met here before!

Yes please don't share to me, 10+ years i never practice NDA also Just normal contracts like terms & conditions for payments only
But some part of Europe region do practice NDA

Unpopular sad opinion; NDA shoo away outside intervention if there is a red flag during the development process. The secretive nature practised inhibits agility and promotes rigidity. Many of the NDA I signed for the past years. Their product now either a zombie or defunct.
