  2. Low Carb Docs, please read below thread regarding lower than expected HDL, and higher than expected trigs in compliant keto patients. And see linked post. 1) Fasting time in both directions matter 2) ⬇️HDL and ⬆️TG doesn't always mean non-compliant!

  8. at MHS instead of americano I switched over to a heavy cream tea latte from starbucks (was in venue building) ✔️ Tea from tea bag (no flavor syrups) ✔️ Steamed heavy cream ✔️ Half water half cream My new fav for conference drinks. Could bring ur own herbal tea too if desired.

    Retweeting for balance. This is in line with what we commonly suggest at CC where one is looking to lower LDL (tho there are many other means, all else being equal). But reemphasis that I'd hope one would "swap" in carbs, not straight up add them as that doesn't often go well

  16. For further context: Most of that trending increase was while weight stable, not during active weight loss (though some occurred there too) Other "context labs" showing no active inflammation (hence why I didn't fret too much over it) Only thing that really changed was time!

  17. It has taken several years of keto/carnivore but over time my HDL has been slooooowly trending up from a starting point of 33 on SAD, hovered mid 40s for a while, and now is finally consistently in the 50s! Not all health changes are rapid! CC:

  18. Made steak in air fryer again but cranked up to 400 F for a little bit at the end and it got a nice crust this time. Much better. 👍
