SCOTUS denied Big Oil’s requests to review lower court rulings that will now allow lawsuits across the U.S. to proceed in state court, where they were filed. The decision clears a path for similar lawsuits against Big Oil to advance toward trial.

Not a lawyer, but If it was possible to sue Purdue Pharma (Canada) for the opioid crisis (news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2022A), I would imagine the case against the big oil companies for the climate crisis should be at least equally clear.
