They knew the dossier came from Steele. They knew that it was paid for by the Clinton campaign. They certainly knew when it was reauthorized but yet it appears they never told the FISA court that important info? May not be illegal but certainly unethical & a bad look for the FBI
Except Democrat @RepAdamSchiff says full testimony indicates Steele dossier was not critical or sole source of info for FISA warrant. So it may be too soon to draw conclusion about "unethical/illegal"
The other source appears to be Yahoo news that was perpetuated by Steele and ignored by other news agencies but fair enough. Let's wait and see. I hope Wray and the IG is up to the job. It is not good for the country.
I’m also pretty sure parts of the dossier at corroborated. Therefore, not fake.
