I work for a newspaper that savaged @realDonaldTrump in a bare-knuckled editorial a couple of weeks ago.
My personal view: there is no reason for newspapers to have editorial opinions. We should only serve as a forum for others' opinions.
i happen to like edit/opinion pages, but the institutional voice/unsigned editorial has long put news reporters in uncomforable positions, so I see the argument
