Around 9 or 10. Spectrum Basic on my ZX Spectrum +. Normally code learned from Crash magazine. To this day I still remember that POKE 23755,0 hides data in that portion of memory and POKE 23755,255 retrieves it. Ironically I’ve never enjoyed coding since back then (30 years ago)

Hi John, at around 12 or 13 I started with Commodore Basic followed by QBASIC, GW-BASIC and TrueBASIC on 286 and 386 PCs. Those were some fun times! Thanks for bringing back some fond memories with your question :)
