Hi John, at around 12 or 13 I started with Commodore Basic followed by QBASIC, GW-BASIC and TrueBASIC on 286 and 386 PCs. Those were some fun times! Thanks for bringing back some fond memories with your question :)

AppleSoft BASIC and Logo on the Apple II series when I was 8. I miss the simplicity.

8. On a GE Mark III timeshare with a coupler modem and a thermal printer. Typed in maze generation BASIC programs from a book and printed them out.

Wrote my first "Hello, World" last year at 25.
