Every "disadvantage" in my life has made me stronger. We choose to grow through adversity or be crushed by it.

No one can define what is an advantage or not in life. No one knows. One persons poverty may be their greatest strength.

Another persons poverty may be their weakness. The golden spoon could be harmful or helpful. We don't know. We can't judge.

Take someone like Frederick Douglas. His "adversity" is exactly what made him so great. He is one of the people I admire most.
