        @jsonmez I caution RAID alone is not backup. I use RAID 10 on my desktop, backup to readonly RAID1; 2x remote to CrashPlan - friend + cloud.

        @ctor I donno. I think the RAID Synology provides is sufficient when I have a cloud backup as well. I don't see what could go wrong.
