Being a woman, no. I have rejected men, though..and I was called a fucking tease, a bitch, a cunt. I was stalked for several weeks by a man who was a *total stranger*, who was angry when he asked me out and I said No. He knew where I worked, and watched me through the window. /1

John, all due respect, when you call men "weak pussies", you don't sound like an ally. Calling them pussies is insulting to Women. Personally, I prefer "dicks", jackasses or arseholes. You seem pretty articulate. You can do better than that.

Anyway, I get what you are saying. And it is a shame that the things you talked about are a reality for many women today. The solution is to teach men to not be weak cowards, easily offended and bitter about rejection, feeling entitled to a woman.

I fight this battle every day. Believe me. People on both sides hate me. Men call me a feminist, some women call me sexist. I understand very well the dynamics at play. But I coach men to be real men who do not prey on women.

This is not something that is done from a position of weakness. We have to teach men to deal with their masculinity and understand it and to understand their role to protect those weaker than themselves.

No no no. You still don't get it. It is not men's roles to "protect" us, but to treat us as equals. Needing men as allies means listening and learning from women's experiences, then educating & enlightening men and boys to treat us with respect. Not to be owned or controlled.

Sorry, it doesn't work that way. You don't get to tell me what my role is. Men should not just protect women, but anyone who is weaker. Respect is earned.

I DO get to tell you when your "role" regarding Women is patronising. We are not ye olde fair maidens who need protection from yonder knight. We DO get to tell men how we expect to be treated: as equals. Saying Women need protection reinforces the idea we are helpless and weak.

Women are of course not helpless, but they are weaker than men. Men and women are equal in value, but not equal as in the same.

SOME women are weaker than men. Watch the making of Wonder Woman with Gal Gadot. She and the other actresses kick arse. I know several women who take Krav Maga classes. I can assure you there is nothing weak or fragile about them.

Fair point. Can't argue that.
