That's not PTSD and who wasn't "abused" by their parents and "gaslit" about it. There is a book a bunch of people keep recommending me called "White Fragility" or something. Maybe you should read it.
Correct. PTSD exists, but not as it's currently defined by psychology. You should read The Body That Keeps Score to have a better understanding of it. The current misdiagnosis of PTSD make a mockery of people who have actually experienced it via war and severe physical abuse.

That book literally says "The trauma caused by childhood neglect, sexual or domestic abuse and war wreaks havoc in our bodies" which sounds exactly like what OP is talking about...am I missing something?
