Friendly reminder. We are living in 2019. There is no institutional racism. There hasn't been for a very long time. But, that doesn't mean that bigotry isn't rearing its ugly head... it is. Ideas are under attack. The thought police are watching you.

Are police searching cars for drugs of whites as often as they do with blacks? You don't see it because you don't live it. But I'm the product of it.
Have you ever had your car searched for drugs? I have. Police dogs and everything. No probable cause.

The difference is I don't partake in recreational drugs and I've been pulled out of my car by the police a half dozen times. That's the difference. For you it's a minor inconvenience. For me, it's life threatening. No sudden moves. Ask for permission. Thank the officer.
