Friendly reminder. We are living in 2019. There is no institutional racism. There hasn't been for a very long time. But, that doesn't mean that bigotry isn't rearing its ugly head... it is. Ideas are under attack. The thought police are watching you.

There is instutional racism: white and Asian men with greater academic qualifications are excluded from academic institutions than less qualified minorities and women.

Institutional racism exists any time a racist gets hired, appointed or elected to a position of power. It may be the minority today but it will never really disappear completely.

That's not institutional racism and it goes both ways. Some of the most "racist" people are "minorities," unfortunately.
