Diversity has nothing to do with race, color, gender or sexual preferences. Diversity is ONLY about thoughts and ideas. Anyone telling you otherwise is promoting bigotry under cowardly protection of hiding behind “minorities” to push a fascist agenda all the while crying fascism.

You can not determine the quality or difference of a person's life experiences by looking at their genitals or the color of their skin. Also, not all life experiences are valuable. Diversity of thoughts and ideas is valuable, but even among thoughts and ideas, some are better.
