Diversity has nothing to do with race, color, gender or sexual preferences. Diversity is ONLY about thoughts and ideas. Anyone telling you otherwise is promoting bigotry under cowardly protection of hiding behind “minorities” to push a fascist agenda all the while crying fascism.

I disagree. Tech isn't disconnected from society at large. Members of groups which are targets of prejudice do encounter similar attitudes in the workplace. If, as result, they are underrepresented in your org, you will suffer from a lack of diversity

And that lack of diversity WILL reduce diversity of thoughts and ideas. Don't expect such diversity when everyone has the same background, culture, and experiences. Ignoring that is a real threat to the ability of your org to succeed

As much as that seems true. The United Stated has the greatest economy the world has ever seen and it accomplished this feat long before the days of the social justice warrior, affirmative action and transgender athletes.

Affirmative Action allows people of color the right to a job just as much as their white counterparts. Many people don't want to change their name to avoid discrimination (Imagine me calling myself Andy Fletcher, just for a job?)

Affirmative action is legalized and rationalized racism. It is literally choosing someone based solely on their skin color, not on their merit. It’s disgusting.

Against who, John? Please let's get to the crux of it. I know when I went before any jobs I never had any Affirmative Action Test or interview.

Against meritocracy.

So let me ask you this John: say you have two people, one named Daniel and the other LaDanian and they were very competent programmers and LaDanian had an edge. Who are you going for?

You are asking the wrong dude. Out of 150 applicants to ghost write my Bulldog Mindset book from my videos, I hired a black woman. Why? Because she was the most competent and could express my voice the best.

Oh and her name is Sheena.
