Diversity has nothing to do with race, color, gender or sexual preferences. Diversity is ONLY about thoughts and ideas. Anyone telling you otherwise is promoting bigotry under cowardly protection of hiding behind “minorities” to push a fascist agenda all the while crying fascism.

Affirmative Action allows people of color the right to a job just as much as their white counterparts. Many people don't want to change their name to avoid discrimination (Imagine me calling myself Andy Fletcher, just for a job?)
Affirmative action is legalized and rationalized racism. It is literally choosing someone based solely on their skin color, not on their merit. It’s disgusting.

Do you think that affirmative action has always been bad, even when the term was first introduced by President Kennedy 58 years ago? It takes only a brief review of history to realize the racial and other injustices that existed and to some extent still exist in our culture.

Of course it has always been bad. Principles don’t change based on situation. Treating people equally, regardless of race, is a principe I have that is non negotiable. I would not give preference to someone just because injustice was done to them in the past.
