But its not the tweets that happened in the actual conversation with Aimee that determine whether something constitutes a twitter mob right? The reputational damage is caused by the broader conversation that happens about that person in the environment. Thats how gossip works

No, but the moment there is some form of "punitive" action that a group of people undertake, whether through real life gossip or twitter gossip or mobs or whatever you wanna call it, it raises the question of does the target deserve whatever harm will come to them
