Lol how can you say she’s wrong about something you never experienced in your life? That’s the problem. You think that you can know and feel everything without experience. If a majority of ppl are telling u something is going on, how can you say they are wrong? Remove your biases

Are you seriously going to marginalize my experiences? I've likely experienced racism at a much larger scale than you will ever know. Have you been physically assaulted multiple times only because of your perceived race? I have.

I’m not here to trade racism stories with u. We live in America where racism was created by white ppl and laws put in place to enforce that. Sorry for whatever happen in your life but that has been the black experience since we been in America.... (cont...)

Laws have changed but that doesn’t mean ppl have. You’re in an industry where a high percentage of ppl like exactly like you. So when I say you can’t fully understand that’s what I mean. You never applied to a software job as a person of color.

You are claiming that I'm not a person of color? Really? How racist is that? You might want to look at yourself and examine if maybe you are the racist.

Oh I understand. I just don't hide behind the victim mindset. And you also didn't want to deal with the fact that I'm a POC, so you ignored it.

I didn’t ignore it. How many ppl look at you at think he’s a POC? You been in the industry since 19 making 6 figures. Did u receive a lot of racism when u were attempting to get in? Teach us. How did u deal with it?

Wow, so I can look at a black person, like Obama and say "nah, I think he's white, because he looks more whitish?" You think you can judge me based on how I look, if I look enough like a POC? That's the most racist thing possible.

Huh?? I asked a question. Race isn’t determined by skin color obviously. Your probably don’t even know what my race is. I asked how was your experience entering the industry as a POC because that’s what you said u are. You said that’s how u can relate to the issue correct?

I don't even believe in the concept or race. There is no clear way to make distinctions. My experience was not fun. One of the first things someone said to me when I was applying for a job at HP was: "hey, you can probably get in with an AA program." Very insulting. I said "no."

Yes of course. I retired young because of my real estate investments and building my own business. If someone blocks my way, I make my own way and I try to help others along the way.
