From a theoretical perspective we can make efforts to gain understanding of the systemic issues that allow it to continue to thrive and do our part to address and dismantle those structures. But we will never understand the actual feeling of it nor be in the receiving end of it.
Wow, so I can look at a black person, like Obama and say "nah, I think he's white, because he looks more whitish?" You think you can judge me based on how I look, if I look enough like a POC? That's the most racist thing possible.

Huh?? I asked a question. Race isn’t determined by skin color obviously. Your probably don’t even know what my race is. I asked how was your experience entering the industry as a POC because that’s what you said u are. You said that’s how u can relate to the issue correct?

I don't even believe in the concept or race. There is no clear way to make distinctions. My experience was not fun. One of the first things someone said to me when I was applying for a job at HP was: "hey, you can probably get in with an AA program." Very insulting. I said "no."
