You think it’s okay to say how someone else is being treated when you never ever experienced anything they go thru? You don’t see the flaw in that thinking?

Just because someone is white, doesn't mean he won't be able to understand racism. Just like we don't have to be beaten to know that it hurts. White folks are capable of empathy too.

We can indeed make efforts to empathize but we will never truly understand it or how it feels to be on the receiving end of it.

Exactly just like men will never understand what it’s like to be a woman give birth etc. we can only imagine what it’s like and try to empathize. So it would be wrong for me as a male to say something like giving birth is easy etc.

If we follow Your logic then noone can ever truly understand how it is to be in someone's else shoes. But if all you do is say that noone understands you yet give no further explaination with which people can emphatize then it's just a weapon to silence different opinions.

It isn’t up to marginalized folks to educate you. You clearly have internet access. Do some research - there are many examples out there where folks have been compensated for their emotional labor.

I am a "marginalized folk". You dont have to explain a thing to new, but don't think people will treat you seriously if you use emotions as argument

Well it would not be your job to educate your oppressors, either. If you put your emotions to the side and stop demanding the work of others instead of taking the steps to educate yourself with the data that is available, that would be a huge step in a better understanding.

Oh, just omitted biggest flaw in that statement. Not everyone who disagree with you is an opressor.

Marginalization and oppression is not something you get to "disagree" on. It is a fact.

Of course you do. Wherever did you get that silly idea from?

I set aside my emotions and invested time into exploring the wide array of data and research that is available on the topic. Then I read the personal, lived experiences of other people to supplement the knowledge I gained as a person who identifies as a woman.
