This sounds an awful lot like what a white woman said to me when I worked at one of the larger tech companies. "You should just be happy to be here". Let that sink in. I was senior and leading teams. I delivered when others could not. "You should just be happy to be here"

Curious why you’re going after the people targeted by your behavior, rather than the folks calling it out. (Hi it’s me, I called it out.) yet you’ve been kind to me?
-
I don't know. Something about the way you phrase things I guess. But don't get me wrong, I think you are dumb. I'm pretty sure I've called you dumb at least once.

You forgot the part about knowing/feeling like you won't have to own and be accountable for what you say. That's vitally important.

Oh, I literally don't give a care.

There's ... a lot to unpack here. I saw someone get called out, someone reflect, a pattern of unfortunate impact being addressed. A delicate situation. Which you then apparently tried to light on fire. Purposefully being dickish isn't a tactic, and I hope you realize that ASAP.

This is wrong and not helping anybody. Stop, log out, rethink what you want to accomplish and how to accomplish it. This ain't it.
