    In fact if one reads between the lines one notes hystericism where there was once discord, as the president’s vulnerability to emotional proclivities was examined once again under the keen auspices of the legislative branch god this is so fucken easy pay me to be a NYT writer pls

    Acquittal provided Trump a moment of triumph, a sense of validation, a shot of momentum — anything but the finality he might want. The president who vowed to bring an end to endless wars overseas remains at the center of an endless war at home.

    this is quite correct.

    Every gay person I know, including myself, still does a quick check of surroundings before showing public affection to their partner. It’s for our own safety. Please don’t tell the most prominent gay couple in America how to kiss on a national stage.

    I haven’t checked closely but it could be Pete in IA, Bernie in NH, Biden/Bernie in NV and Biden in SC all under 30%. There don’t seem to be many SC polls which is weird but RCP has two. Biden at 36 in early Jan and 25 end of Jan.

    It does indeed seem like Pete is getting a pretty solid bounce in NH. We could conceivably have no one clear 30% in the first 4 primaries (well, 3 primaries and the Iowa clusterfuck). That doesn’t seem great to me.

    And media coverage of Iowa seems to be giving a boost in New Hampshire.

    I still want to know why Scott Walker did so badly in 2016. This mystery is yet to be explained satisfactorily. People have done some hand-wavy guesswork but I can do that myself quite frankly.

    If Biden loses, correctly diagnosing why will prob be a challenge for media world bc there are a lot of things that were supposed to stop him (handsiness, boomer style, etc) that didn't have the predicted immediate effect. But people may fall back on those anyways, right or not

    Obviously this is a massive abuse of power by a corrupt autocrat who convinced people to shit on their own democracy for fun. I’m just adding the very much less important point that rich people should suffer along with the rest of us when we are cattled in airports.

    Did Mitt disagree when you decided to drop “Romney” from your name because the president caught a haffy and told you he didn’t like it and you simply rolled over into that vacuous gap where you once kept your dignity?

    This is not the first time I have disagreed with Mitt, and I imagine it will not be the last. The bottom line is President Trump did nothing wrong, and the Republican Party is more united than ever behind him. I, along with the , stand with President Trump.
