This nice chart shows only the ratio between natural gas sources and nothing about the quantity. Without quantity this chart falsely suggest that everything is alright in the supply chain. (it is not) And that mysterious "other"? Might be a by-pass proxy country with russian gas?

Exactly.
The animation misses these points. The overall German gas import dropped by 12% in 2022 YoY. Animation shows Germany decreased domestic gas production from 7.1% to 4%. Country also increased coal consumption in the same time.

I’d love to see a chart of % of gas purchased by different counties from Russia.
So instead of showing where Germany is getting its natural gas from, it’s a chart of where Russia is selling to.
