VOLCAT also recorded a very high #volcanic cloud vertical growth rate in #GOES17 & #Himawari8 data. At ~40 standard deviations above the mean meteorological cloud growth rate, this is among the highest rates reported by Pavolonis et al. (2018). #VolcanoCb
