That's such a great shot. I like the fact the dawn on earth falls short of the horizon, such that it's the moon that's showing the edge of the earth's sphere.

Does it takes multiple wavelengths ? I would love to see the same image in and out of, let say, a water band and see how the transparency of the atmosphere changes. I've been looking at something like this to intuitively explain transit spectroscopy for exoplanets.

That would be cool. Earth has a small scale height and water is only really present in the troposphere, so might be disappointing. But for Cassini images of Titan, from same distances, you can clearly see Titan getting bigger, depending on opacity.pic.twitter.com/RwI2B4DVFU
