If it really wanted to stoke travel demand and help the sector recover faster, the government would today: a) remove the need for pre-departure tests (to the UK) for those fully-jabbed b) remove the day 2 PCR test for those fully-jabbed returning from green-list countries.
Why would they do this? Fully-vaccinated people can still get the virus and they can still transmit it. Testing those people is a sensible precaution, failing to do so is plain daft.

I’ll take as many tests as the Government wishes. But, they should pay for them and make it simpler to obtain them (box at the airport?)
