My wife, @MarinaKorProud, is doing research in Lodwar, Kenya, and I'm helping by analysing sat data to see changes over the years.
This is a 1975 spy satellite pic of Lodwar. Great detail: Can you see the airport? To help, someone has helpfully written "LODWAR" in big letters!

I am particularly nervous about the spatial and physical changes that will happen in 20yrs, at the current trajectory when we have not even figured out the basic water and sewerage reticulation systems, drainage or even proper planning.
