Carol singing seems like one of those high risk activities they should not be doing atm
I walked across the middle of London today (between stations) and was shocked by the number of big groups, massless people in shops or on public transport and cafes still open despite officially being closed. Those not obeying the rules only have themselves to blame for tier 4.

I live in London and people really don't care. Buses are meant to be capped at 30 people but saw multiple that were at full capacity! Shops/pubs/supermarkets etc packed as well.
