Oh my god I have been thinking exactly the same !!??? Lecturers are even further away than teachers do why aren’t our young adults getting lectures in person if school kids are being taught ? Thanks Lorraine

University teaching is not just standing at the front of a lecture hall (which, by the way, is the bit that's well suited to online). There's also groupwork, labwork, tutorials, etc. That's all close contact, and much of it has been in-person this term.

So please, please, have a read about the situation before making a comment such as this. Many of us have been working like crazy to arrange both virtual and in person teaching. It's depressing to be dumped on by someone who clearly hasn't informed themselves

Most of us (in any profession) have been working like crazy to ensure the end user receives an acceptable level of service. It’s what’s expected from a service provider?
