I don’t get why people are still saying this. Yes for most people the symptoms are mild but it’s just fact that this doesn’t affect entire populations like the flu.
Pilots who say that "COVID is just the flu" are like doctors saying "9/11 was just some plane crashes."

It’s similar to those people who point out that they knew someone that smoked and lived until the age of 90 as if to prove that it isn’t harmful.
