1) Elevation of veterans above others is silly. 2) Not all asylum seekers are illegal immigrants. 3) The number in hotels is closer to 1,000, not 48,000. 4) Name one 5-star hotel housing asylum seekers. 5) Stop listening to Farage, he's an embarrassment to our country.

I agree with all points except the first. That is just absolutely astoundingly you'd feel that way (or not,in woke 2020). As they're veterans, they are British and therefore need to be put before foreign nationals by their country.

I read it as why should a homeless veteran be put above other homeless people, many of whom will also be British.

Those who have fought for this country should always be elevated above those who have given nothing. Talk to soldiers with PTSD. Talk to older veterans about what they went through. You may come back with a different perspective.

Our Veterans should be elevated above others. They put their lives on the line so u can live your life as u wish. They should be well ahead of those who haven’t worked or have 10 kids just to claim benefits & get free housing. 1,000 illegal immigrants in hotels is 1000 too many
