Interesting read Simon, thank you. Q’s. (1) did you group go-arounds by month/season, time of day perhaps? (2) the remark ‘proactively divert’ - diversions are expensive events, diversion would (surely?) only be considered if the airport was below minima or fuel became an issue?

1) There is sometimes a cost saving element to a proactive divert. It’s better to divert to en-route alternate on the way than either not be able to attempt a landing when you get there (ie approach ban) or to go around and then divert back to a place you passed an hour ago?
