The irony of your tweet is the assumption you actually report both sides of a story for the sake of balance - which you clearly do not!
I presume that you're of the view that journalistic balance means always presenting an opposing view, no matter how stupid the topic? Someone to call the sky purple when an expert naively claims it is blue.
Absolutely Simon! It's this creating a "false balance" that has contributed a great deal to this mess that we find ourselves in, as people are now accepting unequivocal lies, if it's what they want to hear, as facts and reality.
What Rochdale councils”forecasts”have the same validity as the sky being blue?.......really?
