Anyway, capitalism kills 18 million people a year and has been responsible for genocides all over the world for the past 600 years. Why doesn’t anyone ever ask capitalists to admit THEY’RE wrong?

What genocides? Name one. Capitalism is barely 600 years old, and then only existed in a few places like Venice and The Netherlands.

White terror in Russia was a civil war! The very use of the word peasant means you should delete that from the list. Peasants are feudal subjects. Pinochet, an anti communist dictator, what does that have to do with capitalism?

Sure, White Terror (Russia) was probably more Tsarists anyway. Strike that one from the list, leave the other 3. You know Pinochet was an ARDENT capitalist, right? He was advised by Milton Friedman himself! (who then went on to advise China as they reformed back into capitalism)

Pinochet just hated communism and was an ardent catholic I believe. That said Peru has avoided most of the problems that other South American countries have had like Argentina, Brazil and Venezuela even though it lacks the resources of those countries.

Pinochet was def an anti-Communist, but he was probably the most straightforwardly “capitalist” of the famous fascists. He believed in free market, private enterprise, purged socialists in part because he claimed they threatened prosperity, and was the first to embrace Friedman.

Twenty years ago I would have said he was wrong. Now I an not so sure, it is quite possible the next PM of the UK will be Marxist. I am glad that my circumstances and profession mean I can work abroad relatively easily. Corbyn can do a lot if damage in one term.

Corbyn couldn't save anyone. He is a permanent adolescent who never grew up because he has never had to, being a career politician. He wont run the government either, Joh McDonnell will be doing that and he thinks Stalin was a great guy!
