The Benefit: This project will provide a new place to stay in Manchester and a new lease of life for one of the city’s significant heritage buildings. It will make Station Agent’s House accessible to the public and available as a residence for the first time in almost a century.

The Building: Dating from 1808, Station Agent’s House is one of city’s oldest surviving Georgian houses. It was originally built as a private residence before being used as a home for the Station Agent of Liverpool Road Station. Since 1982, it has been used as museum offices. ¾
