Not sure what happened to be able to see who has read messages ?? Can only see that it’s sent now ...did we lose something in the upgrade?

Read receipts are optional and users can disable them at any time. You may be communicating with someone who has turned them off.

Sorry, couldn't find any bits about reliability and resilience in that blog post. That's why federation is needed: to eliminate a central point of failure. That's Signal's huge vulnerability
